WHO WE ARE
The Krio Heritage Foundation is a community undertaking, which aims to invest in the tradition, culture, and heritage of its people though not limited to Sierra Leonean krio (Creole) in the Diaspora but across continents where possible for public knowledge and information and to deliver projects and programs as stated in its objective/purpose
HISTORY
In February 2019, we had a discussion meeting at University College London (UCL) and agreed on the name Krio Heritage Foundation with a working name, KHF and how to reflect the organisation.
On 6th April 2019, we had an inaugural meeting at St Giles Hotel and Conference Hall, Tottenham Court Road. The vision, mission and objects were presented. Before COVID-19 in March 2020, KHF as a member organisation, met on the second Saturday of each month at Pimlico Academy, in Victoria, London and thereafter and now meets online.

To further such other purposes that are recognised as charitable under the existing laws of England and Wales and to any new purposes which are subsequently recognised as exclusively charitable under English law.”
